| 02.2005 - Mountain High - Wrightwood, California day trip |
| It rained like a BITCH this February. And while it was raining hard all over OC and urban run-off was killing the water and any chance of surfing..... unless you've taken a shining to Hepatitis - the mountains were getting absolutely COVERED in the good stuff. Wrightwood freakin' California! An hour and a half from Newport Beach and it felt like Utah. They got 7 FEET of snow in the 4 days prior to this trip. And it was coming down the whole time we were up there. We left early because we're huge SoCal wimps and didn't want to have to put chains on. Tragically the 2003-2004 OC Love bar camera suffered permanent water damage once on the mountain and has since been retired. R.I.P. Casio Exilim S-2. You are gone but not forgotten. :-( ..... I know; I'm so gay. | ||||
